Naturally rich in skin-loving fatty acids including palmitic and stearic acids. Tallow helps soften the skin, lock in moisture and support the skin’s natural barrier.

Its naturally stable fatty acid profile also makes it well suited to simple, water-free skincare formulations. We source grass-fed and finished beef tallow and slowly purify it in small batches to create a rich, nourishing base without the need for synthetic fillers.

Jojba oil

Jojoba oil is a sophisticated, lightweight, highly stable wax that closely resembles the natural oils produced by our skin. It helps soften, condition and support the skin’s natural moisture barrier while absorbing easily without feeling overly greasy.

Naturally rich in wax esters, it also helps give the balm a smoother, silkier texture and makes it easier to spread. Jojoba is particularly valued for its long shelf life and excellent stability in skincare formulations.

MCT (Medium-Chain Triglyceride) Oil

MCT oil is a lightweight, fast-absorbing oil derived from coconut. Unlike coconut oil, MCT is non-comedogenic.

It helps soften the skin and improve the spreadability of the balm without leaving a heavy or greasy finish.

Because it is highly stable and resistant to oxidation, it also helps support the shelf life and freshness of the formula. Its light texture makes it a great addition for creating a smoother, more easily absorbed balm.
