Our Original Tallow Balm is 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef suet tallow, nothing else. 

The purest form of skincare-grade tallow, this product is rich and recommended for dry, small areas, like hands, face, and elbows.

With a compatible lipid profile to human skin, it deeply nourishes and supports your skin barrier. This is essential, because a damaged skin barrier is often what stops your skin from recovering or retaining moisture.

Pure tallow naturally has a harder, balmy texture, especially in cold mornings. This is proof that it is made with the golden standard ingredient for tallow skincare: beef suet, not fat trimmings. If you want something creamy, check our whipped tallow and body butter.

With a harder consistency, this balm is perfect for warmer climates, keeping in the car, or taking to the beach for after-sun care.

We love offering a pure tallow balm, because it can be pretty hard to find. And it is the favourite for many people with sensitive skin that know when less is more.

Naturally rich in skin-loving fatty acids including palmitic and stearic acids. Tallow helps soften the skin, lock in moisture and support the skin’s natural barrier.

Its naturally stable fatty acid profile also makes it well suited to simple, water-free skincare formulations. We source grass-fed and finished beef tallow and slowly purify it in small batches to create a rich, nourishing base without the need for synthetic fillers.

How to use

Only a pea size amount: a little goes a long way!

We recommend to scoop it with the top side of your fingernail, in a forward moisture, when the balm is in a hard texture.

During warmer days, it can be easily scooped with a finger.

Either way, smoosh it between fingers before applying to dry areas.

To maxmize its moisturizing effects, apply on slightly damp skin.

The whipped tallow is great. I have been using it every morning. The balm hasn’t been used as much yet. My daughter has a couple of really dry spots and I’ve been using it on that.
Lovely product! Wouldn’t mind trying one with a nice scent, but the natural scent is also pleasant and not off putting
