Why these ingredients
- Calendula and chamomile: two gentle, much-loved botanicals, traditionally used in skincare for sensitive, irritated, and wounded skin.
- Lemon myrtle: an Australian native with a fresh, bright scent.
- Organic hempseed oil: a light, nourishing oil that supports irritated skin.
- MCT oil: gives a silkier feel and helps the cream keep longer.

Will this feel greasy on my skin?
No — pure tallow has a similar lipid profile to human skin, so it absorbs rather than sitting on top. A little goes a long way, so start with a pea-sized amount.
How long will one jar last?
With everyday use on the face, a 50ml jar typically lasts 6 to 8 weeks. Larger sizes and less frequent use will last longer.
Can I use it on both my face and body?
Yes, all of our balms are gentle enough for face and body. If you'd like something lighter and quicker to absorb for your face, the Whipped Tallow Balm is a popular pick.
Why is it hard in winter and soft in summer?
Pure tallow is temperature-sensitive by nature, so it firms up in the cold and softens in the warmth. Warm a small amount between your fingers before applying if it feels too firm.
